Balance Together is an AI-powered virtual coaching platform designed to help couples and individuals understand their relationship dynamics through structured weekly check-ins, pattern detection, and personalized insights.

Important: Balance Together is a coaching and self-reflection tool, not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice. If you are experiencing mental health issues or relationship crises, please seek help from qualified professionals.

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4.1 Plans

We offer the following tiers:

• Playground: Free, one-time assessment
• Explorer: Free account with unlimited check-ins
• Coach: Partner insights and AI coaching (free)

4.2 Changes

We may update our service offerings over time. Significant changes will be communicated in advance.

4.3 Refunds

Not applicable — the service is free.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify our pricing in the future. Any price changes will be communicated at least 30 days before they take effect.

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service (check-in responses, reflections, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, process, and store that content to provide and improve the Service.

5.2 Prohibited Content

You agree not to submit content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Violates the privacy or rights of others
• Contains malicious code or spam
• Impersonates any person or entity

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate coaching insights and recommendations. While we strive for accuracy and helpfulness:

• AI-generated content is for informational purposes only
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI insights
• You should not rely solely on AI insights for important relationship decisions
• AI insights are not a substitute for professional counseling or therapy

If you use Couple Coach features and invite a partner:

• You may only invite individuals who have consented to participate
• Certain data and insights will be shared between both partners
• Either partner may disconnect from the couple at any time
• You are responsible for your partner invitation and cannot invite third parties without their consent

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Balance Together and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Balance Together shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted through the Service

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
